Description:

Diclofenac sodium is a non steroidal anti - inflammatory drug that helps relieve pain, stiffness, and swelling caused by several types of arthritis, including osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Thiocolchicoside (THC) is used clinically for its muscle relaxant, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic properties, and it has been shown to interact with g-amino butyric acid (GABA) type a receptors (GABA-ARs) and strychnine sensitive Glycine receptors in the rat central nervous system.
It acts as a competitive GABAA receptor antagonist and also inhibits glycine receptors with similar potency and nicotinic acetylcholine receptors to a much lesser extent. It has powerful convulsant activity and should not be used in seizureprone individuals. 

Indications and Usage:

Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant with anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. It acts as a competitive GABAA receptor antagonist and also glycine receptor antagonist with similar potency and nicotinic acetylcholine receptors to a much lesser extent. It acts as a Muscle Relaxant, Anti-Inflammatory, Analgesic and Anesthetic. Diclofenac is used to relieve pain and swelling (inflammation) from various mild to moderate painful conditions. It is used to treat muscle aches, backaches, dental pain, menstrual cramps, and sports injuries. It also reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness caused by arthritis. Reducing these symptoms helps you do more of your normal daily activities. This medication is known as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
