Cefixime Trihydrate is an oral third generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat infections caused by bacteria such as pneumonia; bronchitis; gonorrhea; and ear, lung, throat, and urinary tract infections.Cefixime is used to treat many different types of infections caused by bacteria.
