STRENGTH: Each tablet contains amitriptyline hydrochloride BP- 25mg.
DESCRIPTION: This medication is used to treat mental/mood disorders such as depression.It may help improve mood and induce feelings of well-being, relieve anxiety and tension,help you sleep better and increase the energy level. This medication belongs to a class of medications called tricyclic antidepressants.It works by affecting the balance of certain natural chemicals(neurotransmitters such as serotonin)in the brain.
INDICATION & USAGE: Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressent. Amitriptyline affects chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced in people with depression.Amitriptyline is used to treat symptoms of depression.
